Painters Collection

Imagine the endless possibilities with painted doors and drawer fronts, from pastels to high gloss polyurethane in the contemporary Slab Series, traditional Raised Panel Series or the Shaker Series.

M and J's painted product start with premium quality 3/4" MDF in a wide variety of profiles, face panels and speciality items. All pieces are primed in an automated spray line with one coat of primer on the backs and multiple coats of primer on the fronts and edges. After hand sanding to ensure a consistent and smooth finish, topcoats are hand applied by M and J's expert painters.

The choice of colors are unlimited with sheen levels ranging from a 20 degree satin finish to a high gloss polyurethane. The choices also include M and J's unique glazed finish and an ultra rich Mother of Pearl.

The Painters Collection includes the options of Roman or Cathedral arches in the traditional Raised Panel Series, crown mouldings, fillers, finger pulls, glass doors and mullions. Click on any of the samples for detailed information.

Drawer front height will determine options for full rail, reduced rail or slab drawer fronts.
All doors and drawer fronts are produced from 3/4" Superior Plus MDF.
All products are finished in a high quality catalyzed alkyd base with sheen levels ranging from a 20 degree satin finish to a high gloss polyurethane.
Standard colours: Wilson Art Frosty White #1573 and Wilson Art Antique White # 1572.
M and J's unique glazed finishes and an ultra rich Mother of Pearl finishes are also available.
The choices for custom colours are unlimited.
Component finishing is available at the discretion of M and J Woodcrafts.

Finger grooves are available on all doors and drawer fronts. The standard placement is centered at the top and bottom unless otherwise specified.
V-Grooves and beading are available on all flat panel doors.
Mouldings may be constructed out of MDF or solid wood.
